The M232 is the most affordable FLIR pan/tilt marine thermal imaging system. The 320 × 240 resolution thermal sensor, combined with a 24 Degree of view lens is well suited for navigation and close-range detection of small vessels, markers, or obstructions. There are several options for controlling the camera, features select maritime electronic manufacturers, joystick control units, connecting to existing FLIR JCUs, or via web application on supported devices. The system is future-ready with IP connectivity and control but can be adapted to support existing monitors with an analog video converter and a joystick control unit kit.

The M232 also uses IP video technology and simplifies installation by eliminating extra video signal cables. The M232 offers features 2X digital zoom capability.
