Airmar TM265C Low/High CHIRP Transom Mount Transducer with Bare Wire Mix-N-Match Cable
Model: TM265C-LH-0Rely on Airmar's new broadband transducers for the ultimate fishing mission! Whether you're a commercial fisherman, charter captain, or tournament angler, there's a new game in town. Traditional marine fish finders operate at discreet frequencies such as 50 kHz and 200 kHz, use relatively short-duration pulses, and use narrowband sonar transducers. In contrast, Chirp uses a precise sweep pattern of many frequencies within a long-duration transmit pulse from a broadband transducer, so the equivalent sound energy transmitted into the water is 10 to 1,000 times greater than a conventional marine fish finder.
Specifically designed for small boats (25'-40'), the TM265LH Chirps across the following bandwidths:
LH Model - Low Frequency 42-65 kHz/High Frequency 130-210 kHz
SpecificationsLow frequency | 42-65 kHz (25° to 16° beamwidth) |
High frequency | 130-210 kHz (10° to 6° beamwidth) |
Boat Size | 8 m to 12 m (25 to 40) |
Boat type | Outboards, I/O |
Hull type | Fiberglass, Wood, Metal |
Hull Deadrise | Up to 28° |
Acoustic Window | Urethane |

We know that specific frequencies excel at detecting certain species of fish: Bluefin Tuna60 kHz, squid133 kHz, and cod175 kHz. The TM265LH transducer includes all these frequencies plus every other frequency in the high and low bandwidths. This powerhouse delivers excellent resolution, bottom discrimination, and bait and game-fish separation at all depths.
Airmars TM265LH is packed with a seven-element, low-frequency array that operates between 42 and 65 kHz for excellent deep-water performance. The high-frequency ceramic operates between 130 and 210 kHz with a narrow, 10° to 6°, beamperfect for picking apart structure and pinpointing tight-holding fish in structure.
Airmar's TM265C-LH Low/High CHIRP Transom Mount Transducer is a versatile, high performance transducer that has a low profile and can be mounted on the transom. The TM265C-LH is a broadband transducer with a depth of -8' to 260'. The TM265C-LH has a fast response water temperature sensor and Urethane housing.
